Sequence Diagram

This diagram is designed to plot genomic sequence alignment by mapping query sequences to target sequences. To use this diagram, the user should have the appropriate data, i.e., start and end coordinate pairs for query and target sequences. Aabel allows mapping query to target sequences by:

• Connecting the start-to-start and end-to-end using color filled areas (see the diagram in the top image below)
• Lines connecting the start-to-start (such as those in the bottom image below), or lines connecting the end-to-end
• Lines connecting the midpoint-to-midpoint
