Displaying Object or Value Labels on Charts

Aabel provides the option of displaying object and/or value labels on scatter and line charts, pie slices, bubble charts, scatter bar, and thematic maps.

• The labels can be customized with frames and backdrop colors, or different font properties.
• Object labels (i.e., worksheet row labels) can be applied to any chart in which the data point can be selected.
• The labels can be used as tags or can replace the data point markers.
• The value labels can display a 3rd dimension on an X-Y chart; a 4th dimension on a ternary, bubble, contour point, and 3-D scatter chart; and a 5th dimension on a bubble, ternary contour, and 4-D scatter chart.
• Pie slices can display object labels, value labels, or both. Thematic maps can display the polygons' identifier labels.
