Heatmaps Displaying Worksheet Matrices

A basic heatmap diagram displays a worksheet matrix layout using a color scale, i.e., the color of each cell (within the color scale applied) is determined by its values.

Below, is shown a heatmap of Mauna Loa CO₂ monthly mean for 1985-2007.

Optional scaling of Z-values displays a basic heatmap, and allows representing the color-coded Z scale proportional to the corresponding cell values.
