Exporting and Copying Graphics
Export and Clipboard Formats
Export formats:
- Bit images (raster files): BMP, JPEG, TIFF, Photoshop, bitmap PICT, PNG, SGI, TGA, etc.
Clipboard format:
- Graphics will be copied into the clipboard as PDF.
Aabel PDF Graphics in Keynote
Below, is an example of Aabel PDF graphics in Keynote.

Aabel PDF Graphics in PowerPoint
PDF graphics are vector drawings, are scalable, are high quality, and preserve transparency during export.
- Word and PowerPoint 2008 support inserting PDF collages, preserving the high quality and transparency of the graphics (see the example below).
- Word and PowerPoint 2004 or 2001, which do not support inserting PDF graphics, ask the System to render PDF graphics to a bit image, and receives the resulting bit image; bit images have a lower quality than similar vector graphics, can produce jagged line arts and texts, and are commonly rendered opaque.

Export and Clipboard Resolution Options
The effect of resolution:
- The effect of resolution is most important for bitmap formats, but is also a factor controlling the quality and file size of vector graphics.
- Using an export resolution far above the resolution used by your printer may create large files with no extra gain than what the printer can handle.
- High-resolution graphics can be unsuitable for on-screen viewing, because the result depends on the downscaling algorithm used by the rendering engine.
Export resolution options:
- When exporting graphics in PDF, the default resolution in Aabel is set to 300dpi, but you can change the preferences (at document or global level) to 72, 150, 450. 600, or 1200dpi
- When using bit images that are not part of a PDF collage, the resolution can be set at 72, 150, and 300dpi.
Clipboard resolution options:
- When copying graphics, the default resolution in Aabel is set to 300dpi, but you can change the preferences (at document or global level) to 72, 150, 450, or 600dpi
