Citrin 2-D Contour Charts

Contour Matrix (Map View of Regularly Spaced Data)

This contour chart uses data in a matrix layout. Your worksheet is like a map, i.e., the matrix itself. Each cell value represents a Z value. Citrin plots the Z values while using the row direction as Y, and the variable direction as X, and initially uses the number of rows and columns as X and Y values. From the axis dialog you can set the real world coordinates for the X- and Y- axis range, and change the axes titles.

X-Y-Z Contour by Triangulation

Map view of irregularly spaced data, displaying inter-related variations in values of three variables, e.g., X and Y coordinates and Z elevation.

In this contour chart, contouring method is by triangulation, and labeling the contours is not an option.
