The left-hand side image above is a contour matrix plot of data generated from the trend surface analysis of the XYZ data displayed on the right-hand side XYZ contour chart.
- To create a continuous surface (which requires an evenly spaced data set) from an unevenly spaced data set, Aabel gridder uses the n-nearest neighbors method, with or without a quadrant or octant constraint on the search pattern.
- The right-hand side contour matrix chart below is plotted from gridding of the data used in the X-Y-Z surface plot in the left-hand side image below.
