Getting Informed Before Purchasing a License

What you need to know before making a purchase:

Software licenses can be ordered 24/7 online or by phone.

Payment options include credit/debit card, invoice, check, money order, wire transfer, and open invoice (Giro). The currently accepted cards are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa Check Card, Eurocard, and MasterMoney.
International currencies include U.S. dollars, Euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars, and Australian dollars.
While ordering online, if you prefer to provide your credit card information by fax or use a payment option other than credit card, select the desired option in the order form and submit your order; the required information will be provided to you in your web browser once the order has been submitted.

When you click the "Buy Now" button of any license type on this website, you will be directed to a secure server that encrypts all of the customer's personal information including the name, address and credit card number. Encryption ensures that no one can access or use personal information in an unauthorized manner. Credit card information is sent directly to the credit card processor in a secure fashion, with no visibility to Gigawiz or anyone else.

Backing up software is the users' responsibility. Please backup the downloaded disk image ASAP. For unexpected eventualities, you can use the optional services offered by Regnow/Digital River to obtain a backup CD or EDS. EDS means that with the purchase of your digital product, the distributor keeps a copy of your file for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. You can download again at your convenience, if you encounter a disk crash or similar problems.
NOTE: The backup CD and EDS can be ordered together with your initial license order. It is not possible to "add" the EDS or backup CD to a pre-existing order that has already completed.

Orders in Minnesota and Washington are subject to the applicable sales tax.
If you place an order on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, for a sales tax credit, please fax a copy of your tax-exemption form with an address matching your order's billing or shipping address to: 952-253-8760. Please include a copy of your receipt or your order number.

Pursuant to the European Union Digital VAT Directive, EU customers are subject to VAT on all downloadable digital products and services, including software.
If you place an order on behalf of a VAT-exempt institution, provide the VAT-exemption ID in the appropriate field of the order form.

Number of computers on which a single-user license can be installed: Single-User License Agreement allows installing one copy of the Gigawiz software on your work computer ("Primary Computer"), and a second copy for your exclusive use on a portable or home computer ("Second Computer"), provided that the software on the Second Computer is not being used at the same time the software on the Primary Computer is being used.
Perpetual license: Gigawiz's product license agreements grant the user of a Gigawiz product the right to use the product in perpetuity.
Upgrading: If the software is an update to a previous version of the software, (i) you must possess a valid license to such previous version in order to use the update, (ii) you may not transfer the previous version or copies thereof to another party or computer unless all copies of the update are also transferred to such party or computer.
Products not refundable: Combining each copy of the software (identified by a unique serial number) with "machine identifier" for the user's computer is becoming a common practice in the software industry. However, we have not adapted such process, as it can burden the users. Accordingly, downloadable software is not refundable (as there is no way of knowing if one continues using the software after a refund has been issued).
