Three-Way Mean Bar and Dot Charts
These graphs compare the mean response values (scores, measurements) obtained from K>=2 experimental conditions for pq levels of two factors (i.e., K=pqr samples/groups).
- To add error bars to a three-way mean graph, the options are:
- Standard error of mean
- Standard deviation
- Confidence interval (including options of 90.0%, 95.0%, 97.5%, 99.0%)
Three-Way Mean Bar Charts
Here, the mean values are represented by height of bars. The legend entries are based on the K >= 2 response variables, the X-axis labels are based on levels of two grouping variables (see the example below).

Three-Way Mean Dot Charts
This plot is similar to three-way mean bar plot, except that the mean values are represented by dot symbols instead of bars.
