3-D and 4-D Scatter Charts

In a 3-D scatter chart, data points are plotted at intersections of X, Y, and Z values in a 3-D grid. The vertical axis is Z, the left axis is X, and the right is Y.

The values of a 4^th dimension can be displayed using a color scale.
The data can be displayed using 2-D or 3-D markers.
The data points can be optionally connected to any of the chart planes.
In this chart, you can change the angles of rotation of the X-, Y-, or Z-axis (0-90°)

3-D Spinning Scatter

The spinning 3-D scatter chart is suitable for exploratory pattern recognition in multivariate data.

In this chart, you can change the angles of rotation of the X-, Y-, or Z-axis (0-360°).
3-D spinning charts are initially plotted with the X-, Y-, and Z-axes intersecting at the midpoint. To plot the X-, Y-, and Z-axes intersecting at zero, you can choose the option "Intersecting at 0,0,0".
The data can be displayed using 2-D or 3-D markers.
